ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the role of ontology in ethics. It cites the practical result of the logical positivist approach. It claims that all ethics is a subfield of ontology. It states that ontology is the science of categorization of objects and relations. It also suggests that at the metatheoretical level, all branches of ethical investigation by virtue of the fact that each fits actions or intentions into categories bearing certain relations to each other are ontological in nature.
