ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Public Investment Fund (PIF), which is overseeing construction of the North-South Railway project in Saudi Arabia, is preparing to issue several tenders for the 2,400-kilometer minerals railway in the coming weeks. All the principal outstanding contracts on the project are set to be in place by the end of 2007.
