ABSTRACT
The article deals with the joint venture plan of Verizon Wireless and Vodafone Group PLC to create a common network technology path that utilizes LTE. Vodafone CEO Arun Sarin and Verizon Communications Inc. chairman and CEO Ivan Seidenberg spoke about the plan at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia conference. According to Seidenberg, the common platform is nothing more than the industry realizing that he can stimulate expansive growth by having a common platform and the best networks.
