ABSTRACT
The article discusses the relationship between United States and China amidst its resurging economic success. The author examines the economic performance of China, its military spending, fundamental foreign-policy goals, and the US trade deficit wit China. He believes that the relationship between the two countries has a mutual significance, as well as regional and global implications. He added that China and the US should cooperate to maintain global peace and prosperity in the twenty-first century. He also mentioned that the development of both nations are parallel and the most critical issue on their relationship is their contribution to the international political economy.
