ABSTRACT
The article reports on the £27.6 million sales achieved by the residential team of Savills at its auction at Millennium hotel in London, England in July 2007. Auctioneer Christopher Coleman-Smith stated that the investors remained committed to traditional residential auction stock. He added that the performance of the team was exceptional considering the decline in the commercial and residential markets. The commercial team of Savills posted a 73% success rate at its sale at Claridge hotel.
