ABSTRACT
The article reports on the regret of the Metropolitan Community Churches (MMC) over the denial of the Anglican Church of Canada to bless legal marriages of same sex couples. Through its moderator Reverend Nancy L. Wilson, the MMC noted that the Canadian Anglican as an independent province of the Anglican Communion decided to remain neutral over the issue of acceptance and action. Wilson stresses that the role of denominational leaders is to offer pastoral care to the people whom they serve with prophetic vision and courage.
