ABSTRACT
The article discusses the cost-efficiency of using renewable sources of energy in heating greenhouses. The cost per British thermal unit of woodwaste is $3.29, $4.17 for cotton gin trash, $7.09 for waste oil and $9.60 for dry shelled corn. On the other hand, standard fuels cost around $15 to $17 per British thermal unit.
