ABSTRACT
The article reports on Ramsarup Group's installation of facilities in Durgapur, West Bengal, India where it has acquired over 50 acres of land to enable it to annually produce approximately 350,000 metric tons of black and galvanized steel wire by 2010. The company mentions that technical aspect, plant and machinery are being imported from Italy. It expects to reach 600,000 metric tons of wire from the two plants. It also plans to expand its product lines with wire products.
