The article reports on the continued improvement of the mineral sector and mining activities of Tanzania. The country's improvement is gained from huge benefit on the increasing commodity prices and consequent gold exploration discoveries in the country's soil. This situation has contributed to the growth of its mineral sector by achieving a total of $700 million in 2005 with an equivalent gross domestic product of 3.5%. However, despite the development in mineral sector the country's infrastructural level remains largely underdeveloped.
