ABSTRACT
The article reports on the joint venture between Leighton Asia Ltd. and Emaar MGF in India. The merger would form Leighton Construction India which would provide design and construction services to Emaar MGF throughout the country, and given its U.S.$ 2.5 billion order backlog, it will be one of India's largest construction companies.
