China's First Customs-Supervised Special Zone Opens

The article reports on the opening of the first customs-supervised special area Zhuhai Park in China in 2007. Located in the Zhuhai-Macau Cross-Boundary Industrial Zone, Zhuhai Park will enjoy special policies as a bonded area, an export processing zone, and a special port. The industrial zone is divided into two sections: the Zhuhai Park, which comes under the administration of the Zhuhai Shi government; and the Macau Park, which is under the government of Macau Special Administrative Region.
