ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decline in the success rate of Savill's commercial auction to 68% due to increased interest rate in England in May 2007. It states that more than one-third of properties were not sold which brought the success rate down from 78% in March. The company's residential sale at London's Millennium Hotel obtained 87% success rate and totals of £32.7 million. A Victorian semi-detached house in Charles Square, North Kensington was offered at the auction.
