ABSTRACT
The author reports that Democratic members of U.S. Congress say they will end abstinence-only sex education in schools when a $50 million grant expires in June 2007. According to the article, this has sparked outrage by social conservative organizations. According to the article, money would still be available to teach abstinence, but students would also be taught about birth control and safe sex methods.
