One killed during protest

The article reports on the protest concerning the seizure of farmland by the Chinese government for a real estate project which resulted to one death of a villager. Construction workers and villagers clashed on the island of Guanzhou after the villagers gathered at the construction site to demand compensation after a local man was hit by a hauler near the site. One man was beaten to death when construction workers in hardhats and wielding iron attacked the villagers to disperse the protest.
