ABSTRACT
The article presents the views of several school board members and administrators on the School-to-Prison Pipeline in the U.S. Fifty-one percent of respondents to a survey on the School-to-Prison Pipeline conclude that it is far too facile a way to describe the set of forces that causes young people to enter the juvenile justice system. Thirty-five percent stated that the phrase is way off base, while another 10% agreed it is an apt phrase. John Hambrook, a school board member from Connecticut, emphasized the importance of social services to the country's educational system.
