ABSTRACT
The article discusses ways to promote a personal or commercial blog. A blog is a vital site where a user can update weekly or daily entries. Pinging is one way to promote a blog. It means telling a blog-based search engine about a new post. Another way is sending a trackback, which lets the blog's owner know that the user wants to view his or her blog. It states that letting readers publicize the user and the blog itself is a helpful way to promote a site. It also stresses that in sending e-mails to promote a blog, briefness, politeness and respect always count.
