ABSTRACT
The article reports that 2006 was the sixth warmest year on record, according the World Meteorological Organisation. Areas plagued by droughts, including China, are mentioned. It states that Australia had an above average rainfall during the year. It also notes that the largest reported ozone hole over Antarctica was at 29.5 square kilometer(km²).
