This article reports on the 2007 Advocacy Agenda finalized by the American Hospital Association in the U.S. The objective of the agenda is to help hospitals serve as a vital community resource. It will also focus on protecting patients, communities and hospitals from Medicare and Medicaid cuts which has been proposed by U.S. President George W. Bush. The organization will be needing support from trustees to make the agenda a success.
