Winnipeg to Host ACRL Institute for Information Literacy

The article reports on the decision of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) Institute for Information Literacy Executive Committee to hold its Immersion 2007 program at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. The university will sponsor the event along with the University of Winnipeg and Brandon University. According to the author, the strategic plan of ACRL to make the program more accessible to a broader audience fits its decision to conduct Immersion in Winnipeg.
