ABSTRACT
The article reports on the issuance of a request for proposals by the Worcester Retirement System in Massachusetts in February 2007 for a manager to oversee an investment in a global tactical asset allocation (GTAA) strategy. The board also stated the requirements for interested investment firms, including at least a one year performance history in GTAA. The selected firm must have experience managing investments for tax-exempt state, municipal, or other governmental defined benefit plans.
