ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the contentious relationship between Iran and the United States. Particular attention is given to the strain on the relationship between the nations as a result of the Iraq War, Iran's nuclear developments, and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's comments on Israel. The inclusion of Iran in U.S. President George W. Bush's "Axis of Evil" speech after Iran reportedly offered assistance with the Taliban in Afghanistan is discussed. The potential of a war with Iran is also discussed.
