ABSTRACT
The article presents the findings of a study of a calcipotriol/betamethasone dipropionate two-compound product for the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris. Three treatment groups of patients were randomized, including the administration for 52 weeks of two-compound ointment, and alternating 4-week periods of two-compound ointment and calcipotriol ointment for 52 weeks. It showed that the two-compound ointment, either with calcipotriol or without, is a safe long-term treatment for psoriasis.
