ABSTRACT
The article reports that Antonio Coyazo, a Mexican immigrant living in California, has lost an appeal of his conviction for six counts involving the attempted murder, kidnapping, and carjacking of Paul Janosik, a gay man. Coyazo and two other men beat Janosik, stole his vehicle, and left him for dead in a parking lot. The article presents details of the case, People v.
