ABSTRACT
The article reports on the growth experienced by the resin distribution market of North America in 2006. In September 2006, North American sales of polypropylene to distributors totaled more than 900 million pounds. High feedstock prices put an impact on the sales of polystyrene to distributors, which fell about 6 percent to less than 500 million pounds. Polyone Corp.'s resin distribution unit rang up sales of almost $566 million in the first nine months of 2006.
