ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the need to attract more foreign investors to provide more jobs and raise the living standards in sub-Saharan Africa. Many African countries have taken steps to lure investors. However, business environment remains uninviting because of corruption, poor infrastructure, few skilled workers, and lax governance. These countries have implemented reforms to improve business environment including greater macroeconomic stability and increase protection of investors' rights.
