ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the initiatives targeting greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in the U.S. The Clean Power Act of 2003 aims to reduce power-plant emissions of carbon dioxide. The Climate Stewardship Act of 2003 focuses on GHG and its sources. The administration of President George W. Bush has launched its Climate Voluntary Innovative Sector Initiatives: Opportunities Now, which aims to reduce the greenhouse gas intensity.
