ABSTRACT
The article reports that TTVNZ announced to offer a free-to-air digital service in March 2007, which will have far-reaching consequences on home automation in New Zealand. The service will be offering many benefits such as security can be opened remotely, Internet access is available to any computer via a centralized server modem and music can be played anywhere in the house at the flick of a switch. AVi-LynX from Hills Signal Master is designed to distribute high-quality video and audio from multiple sources.
