ABSTRACT
The article presents information related to impeachment of South Korean President Roh Moo Hyun. Roh, a former human-rights lawyer, who promised to shake up South Korea's political and business establishment, narrowly wins election in December 2002. In March 2004, opposition lawmakers submit the country's first-ever presidential impeachment motion, after Roh is found to have violated election laws by urging public support for the Uri Party in the upcoming election.
