ABSTRACT
The article offers information about the meeting between the Irish Nurses Organisation (INO) and the Health Service Executive (HSE) Council in November 2006 in Ireland. The INO requested the meeting to consider issues arising from the HSE's decision to recruit some 300 health professionals to commence the staffing of 100 primary care teams. The meeting came up with conclusions to respond to the great uncertainty and frustration of members towards issues of concern.
