ABSTRACT
The article reports that the total number of DVD releases in the theatrical catalog category in the first 11 months of 2006 in the U.S. were 1,046. It is 39.3 percent lower from the same period in 2004. Suppliers are radically changing the configuration for theatrical catalog releases. 29.2 percent of the releases in 2006 were multiple-film sets.
