ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the meeting on cataloging of architectural drawings held during the 1993 conference of the Art Libraries Society of North America in California. A suggestion was made that the vocabulary lists for preservation should be used in the cataloging record in AMC field 583 (Action Note) to show whether an item is in its original condition or in treated form. Karen Chittenden discussed the Library of Congress' project to catalog its architectural drawings at the collection level.
