ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the new rules for joint duty assignments enacted by the U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) in May 2006. As per these rules employees must work in top-level jobs at more than one government agency to qualify for senior intelligence positions. Officials at DNI divided the intelligence community workforce at the office to decide which jobs provide and require joint duty experience.
