Police criticized in Halloween scuffle

The article reports that gay man Phil Knight and his partner were assaulted and harassed by five men on Church Street on Halloween night. The incident was reported to 51 Division officers in Toronto, Ontario. Superintendent Jeffrey McGuire of 51 Division said that he will examine the allegations of the victims and will investigate the incident as much as he takes gay bashing seriously.
