ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the September meeting of the combined American and European Societies of Retina Specialists that features updating trials of macular degeneration drugs. A two-year study results were presented by the MARINA study that tested 716 patients. Around 92 percent of patients showed a mean improvement in BCVA of 5.4 letter in a clinical trial.
