ABSTRACT

The article reports that the U.S. conservatives, who supported the Iraq War, are now getting frustrated with the prolonged and complex violence in Iraq. They feel uneasy with the concepts of establishing democracy and nation building in war land. That this war will not solve the problems on the ground is not going down well with many of them. In frustration with the growing counterinsurgency in the Middle East, they suggest two things to be given to Muslims, either freedom or death.
