The article reports on the integrated building design of Chapiteau des Arts in North America. The Chapiteau des Arts is dedicated to the circus arts that also serves as the head office for the La Cité des Arts du Cirques (Circus Art City) which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improve the poorest neighborhoods in Canada. It also serves as the city cultural center and entry for a future park in North America. The integrated design team considered the use of biogas waste heat, passive solar design, underground duct simulations and others to maximized the use of renewable energy as a substitute for electricity.
