The article features the age old contradiction between science and religion from Vatican's point of view. Earlier, Pope John Paul has reconciled the faith and science and expressed that the Darwininan evolution is more than a mere hypothesis. However, the pope Benedict XVI, is not yet clear on this subject and moreover, in view of the article published by Cardinal Christoph Schönborn, an impression has been created that Vatican might, endorse intelligent design opposed to Darwinism.
