ABSTRACT
The article reports on the expected rise of online sales in the souvenirs, gifts and novelties market in 2006. Online sales will top 200 billion U.S. dollars in 2006 after spending more than 100 billion U.S. dollars a few years ago. Retailers rely on their Web sites to increase the sales at their stores, as customers use the Internet increasingly for comparing prices, finding gift ideas and researching products.
