A telemedical network for north-west Russia

The article offers information on a project started by the University Hospital of Tromsø and the Arkhangelsk Medical Academy in 1993 that focuses on using telemedicine applications both between Norway and Russia and within the Arkhangelsk region. It aims to deliver telemedical services to remote areas of the region. The project includes both the establishment of a pilot network in the Arkhangelsk region and skills transfer between telemedicine user groups in Norway and north-west Russia.
