ABSTRACT
The article announces the move of the U.S. Department of Defense to add deployments of troops for Operation Iraqi Freedom for 2006. Among the units to be deployed includes the 1st Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division from Fort Hood, Texas and the 4th Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division from Fort Bliss, Texas. President George W. Bush made the announcement as part of its effort to serve with Iraqi law enforcement officers and to curved increasing guerrilla violence.
