ABSTRACT
This article focuses on the emergence of plastic which has revolutionized every aspect of the world. By the end of the 20th century Newsweek magazine had crowned plastic one of the most important inventions of the past millennium. Today, daisy chain-like polymer molecules that combine to create plastics are knitted into every aspect of the world. Some plastics have become the icons of bygone eras.
