ABSTRACT
The article discusses the effects of the national security policy on the economy of federal cities in the U.S. It conveyed that a nation that scientifically and systematically upgrades its human and physical resources would result to an increase in economic, social and political strength. However, this message has demonstrated its oppressive aspect in the city of San Diego, California. Due to the rise of technology-scientific age, the metropolis has suffered the worst unemployment problem in the country.
