ABSTRACT
The article reports on the concern of institutional investors on the increasing valuations and frenetic competition for deal flow in the private equity market in the U.S. Private equity funds are being forced to re-developed their strategies to try to find ways on deals with potential for double-digit returns. With this regard, smaller percentage of the transactions in the middle market are going to be auctioned by investment banks.
