The article focuses on the development of a research program on alternative fuels to end the dependency on fossil fuels in Sweden. The Swedish government aims to establish its leadership in environmental protection through boosting research on alternative fuels, giving incentives to those who switch to green alternatives, and increasing the annual electricity production from renewable sources.
