ABSTRACT
The article presents news briefs on education materials for students and middle level teachers. A new series of Design Challenges for children in grades four, five, and six is launched by Space Day 2001 in preparation for the international celebration of space on May 3, 2001. Fifth-grade students in the United States are requested to take part in the 10th annual Arbor Day National Poster Contest. Free online service MyClass.net helps teachers create personalized classroom Web sites.
