ABSTRACT
The article looks at the developments in the biofuels market in Great Britain. The European Union devised the renewable transport fuel obligation that would require states to replace diesel used by 2010. Scania decided to allow the use of biofuels in Scania trucks. Daf emphasizes the significance of the appropriate understanding of the service compliance required on trucks that utilize biofuels. One issue that prevented commercial vehicle operators from using biofuels is the invalidation of warranty.
