The Subject Matter of Introductory Science and Its Organization

The article explores the subject matter of a course in introductory science and its organization. The choice of subject matter must be determined by its aims and purposes and must supply the most efficient educational means for teachers and students. The greatest difficulty is in its organization. There are abundant materials because the field of introductory science is the universe, the earth and the life itself. The article also provides information on bases for the choice of content, role of interest in organization, the project method and the method of the development of the course.
