ABSTRACT
The article examines the possible resolution of the common view that renewable power generation, particularly wind, is in conflict with the grid operator's goal of providing service to customers at the least possible rates and maintaining a stable and robust grid. Developers focus on the completion of projects quickly in order to secure financing and tax credits, and this is in conflict with the grid operator's grid system planning procedure.
