This article presents recommendations for the teaching of sexual hygiene in Chicago, Illinois public high schools. These suggestions are based on the author's experiences teaching teenage boys and young men as physical instructor of the Boys' School in the Pennsylvania Institution for the Blind. A starting point can be the study of glands entering into the process of digestion. The book "The Strength of Being Clean, A Red Cross Address" by David Starr Jordan focuses on the subject of temperance in sexual practices.
