ABSTRACT
The article presents an interview with Lesley Strathie, chief executive of Jobcentre Plus. Strathie states that the company is in the middle of a four-year modernization program, to be completed by 2008. Their aim is to make far easier for customers to access their services and they are also improving the environment of the offices. The management structure has also changed from a geographical model to a functional model.
